KTSA is a volunteer program through a renowned non-profit organization called Cross-Cultural Solutions. CCS coordinates volunteers all over the world to help developing countries in Education, Healthcare, Community Development Projects, Care Giving, and many other sustaining causes.
I (Kevin Gschwend) will be traveling and living in Cape Town, South Africa for 12 weeks, starting August 1st, 2009 and going through October 24th, 2009. During that time I will be involved in any of the above volunteer projects that are needed to help the people of South Africa.
Since Cross-Cultural Solutions is a non-profit organization, all of their funding for programs comes from volunteer sponsorship contributions. That means I'm encouraged to fundraise for my volunteer project and gain sponsors from other organizations, family, and friends. The cost I need to raise for my 12-week program is $6,414 (does not include airfare). The costs include: Housing, Travel & Medical insurance, Food, and in-country transportation.
I've been asking people I know to sponsor me and donate any amount of money they can to this wonderful program. It's a really great cause and if there's any way you can help that would be wonderful. All donations are 100% Tax deductible so that's a plus!

I need all donations by July 1st, 2009 as that is when my program fee is due. So the sooner you can put in your donation the better. When you are finished with the donation process, you will receive an e-mail with the tax deductible form. If you wish to make the donation via check or money order let me know and I'll send you directions for that. If you have any problems or do not receive a tax form let me know.
